Thailand is still the most popular country on the continent of Asia for golf holidays.  It has everything, which makes for a perfect gollf trip.  The sunshine, the beaches and of course superp golf courses which would cost you an arm and a leg in another country to play.
The value for money is still outstanding and prices have not increased for years.  Combined with the charm and friendless of the Thai people it is a golf destination, which should be on everybodies travel list.  But be careful you may keep going back year after year.

There are three main resorts for golf:  Pattaya, Hua Hin and Phuket.  But it is certainly worth to take some time out of the golfing schedule to explore the paradise like islands, the jungle area of the North or the cultural highlights in Bangkok.
Some off the smaller islands do have excellent golf courses too.  Koh Samui, for example, does have two wonderful courses.  Santiburi Samui Golf & Country Club is set on a hillside admist old Coconut Gardens.  And there is also Royal Samui Golf & Country Club, a real challange for the keen golfer as the greens leave very little margin for errors.
