1. Aroeira 1: In play since 1973, the architect Frank Pennink designed this spectacular 18-hole championship golf course. Referred to by golf specialists as one of the best courses in Europe, Aroeira I hosted the Portugal Open in 1996 and 1997, various Ladies Open and the Qualifying School of the Ladies European Tour.
2. Aroeira 2: Designed by the architect Donald Steel, with 18 long holes that contour 6 large lakes, Aroeira's second championship golf course was inaugurated in April 2000. Aroeira II was built to European Tour recommendation standards in order to host major international golf events
3. Belas: The Belas Clube de Campos was designed by Rocky Roquemore, author of hundreds of high quality courses from which the reputed Quinta do Lago and San Lorenzo.
4. Golden Eagle: The Golden Eagle is set on a property near Rio Maior, 55 kms north of Lisbon. This championship course, designed by Rocky Roquemore of Atlanta, USA, occupies almost the double of an ordinary course.
5. Oitavos Dunes: The layout has been carefully crafted by one of the greatest golf architects of our times, ex-president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, Arthur Hills. Hills has maintained and preserved the unique characteristics of the land, creating a 6.303 metre, par 71 golf course
6. Penha Longa: This course has to be played with respect for its architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. who has created a golf course that demands skill from most experienced golfers. The course has hosted the Portuguese Open and several important international events.
7. Praia del Rey: Praia d’el Rey is arguably the most stunning golf course in Europe. It’s set among extensive pine forests and undulating dunes, with spectacular views over the Atlantic and the Berlenga Islands beyond. Praia D’El Rey was designed by the renowned American golf architect, Cabell B. Robinson and was inaugurated on 14th June 1997
8. Quinta da Marinha: Located on the famous Estoril Coast, 25 kilometers from Lisbon, the Quinta da Marinha course was designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones and is set in a private estate of 110 hectares, wooded with pine trees. The architect has worked on the flat terrain, laying out the course over 6,071 metres for a Par 71.
9. Quinta do Peru: Quinta do Peru is the newest golf course to be built in the Azeitão region between the castles of Sesimbra and Setubal, which is well known for its palaces, its wines and cheeses. The American architect Rocky Roquemore was responsible for the project and has designed a course for amateur golfers. However, it also represents a challenge for professional players.

Troia: Troia Golf Championship Course, designed by the famous American golf architect Robert Trent Jones Senior, is a spectacular links, and one of the most fascinating golf challenges in Portugal. The magazine Golf World elected in 2003, as the 25th best European Golf Course. The usual approach to the Troia Golf Championship Course is straight over the Estuary of the Sado River - a pleasant short ferry ride from Setubal to the Peninsula of Troia, a region of great natural beauty near the Atlantic Ocean.
