It is now 12 years since we first ran our first GAA Hall of Fame trip, strangely enough also to Sesimbra, although not to the same hotel since the Sesimbra Spa did not exist at that particular time.

Since then, it has been a hugely successful trip and we have added to it by running a rugby trip as well.  This year we are combining them and extending our reach just a little bit further by making it an All Sports trip, so we will have GAA, rugby, soccer, athletics and boxing representatives, so you will have an opportunity to meet with and play golf with stars of all the sports.

One of the features of this trip over the years has been the ability to play golf, have a chat and then at night time to debate on the glories of the past – who did what, who played well against so and so and of course the inevitable picking of the best teams of all time.  This again should prove to be a really superb trip since Sesimbra lends itself so well to this type of congenial atmosphere. 

The Sesimbra Spa Hotel boasts a balcony and a seaview for every room and you literally walk out the door to as many bars and restaurants as you could possibly want.  For those who have been to Sesimbra, I am sure you will want to go back and for those who haven’t, it is the most beautiful, picturesque village and now that we have this gorgeous hotel, one of the best venues we could ask for. 

Again this I think will be a superb week and the cost will be exactly the same as the entertainment trip.
